Last Week of November

This is one tall tree! I do not believe that I have seen a decorated tree taller than this one, at Fashion Island - Newport Beach. We took our Christmas Card photo in front of the tree this year. We were down in Newport because the La Verne Lazers were part of the Harvest Tournament in Irvine and San Juan Capistrano. We actually did quite well. Did not place but played really good games and gave the other teams a run for their money! Each day we would have a morning game, then a long break and then a late afternoon game. So instead of driving back and forth we decided to make a weekend out of it and stayed in Newport by Balboa Island. After our morning game we would go out to lunch, once at The Corner Bakery and once at Islands. We destroyed Islands. The girls had small food fight, and tossed the crayons all over the place... it got unruly. Our team Christmas Party was this last Wednesday night. We had our Secret Santa exchange and some of the girls swam and sat in the jacuzzi. It was so cold. We all wore our pajamas. We had alot of fun.
